DESCRIPTION

CX-421-P-Z is a compact diffuse reflective photoelectric sensor from the CX-400 series designed for reliable object detection in industrial applications. The sensor features PNP output configuration with M8 plug-in connector type and operates with an infrared LED emitting element, providing a sensing range of 300 mm (11.811 in) with a bright spot of approximately 2 mm (0.079 in). It operates at 12 to 24 V DC supply voltage with current consumption of 25 mA or less, and includes integrated operation and stability indicators (orange and green LEDs respectively) for easy setup and diagnostics. The sensor is suitable for detecting opaque, translucent, or transparent objects on non-glossy paper surfaces, making it ideal for packaging, material handling, and automation systems where compact size and precise detection are required.
