DESCRIPTION

The EX-L221 is a spot reflective laser sensor designed for the highly precise detection of minute objects. It features a sensing range of 45 to 300 mm and can detect objects as small as 0.01 mm in diameter. The sensor provides excellent positioning accuracy with a typical repeatability of 0.02 mm or less at a sensing distance of 100 to 200 mm. It projects a small laser spot of 1 mm or less at its maximum range and is housed in an IP67-rated enclosure for environmental resistance. These characteristics make it ideal for demanding applications such as detecting ICs, confirming substrate arrival, and other high-precision positioning tasks.
