DESCRIPTION

The MWWS156-5-D is a MAS-CON header connector from Series 156 designed as a 180° breakable in-line splice with 3.96 mm pitch spacing. It features copper alloy contacts with tin-nickel plating (gold available on request) and a PA66 GF insulator material rated UL94V-0 for flame resistance. The connector exhibits a maximum contact resistance of 20 mO, withstands 1000 V AC per minute, and maintains an insulation resistance of 1000 MO minimum, making it suitable for reliable signal and power distribution in PCB applications. Operating across -40 °C to +105 °C, this 5-position header is commonly used in industrial control systems, telecommunications equipment, and consumer electronics requiring robust, breakable connector solutions with consistent pitch geometry.
