DESCRIPTION
PK10M-080SP-SMT-DA is a 3M Pak 10 Media Socket designed as a 1 mm straight, surface-mount connector system with 80 signal contacts and power contacts. The connector features a keyed design to prevent mating misalignment and is constructed from glass-filled LCP insulation material with UL 94V-0 flammability rating. Signal contacts are rated at 0.5 A each, while power contacts are rated at 5 A, with contact plating consisting of 120 µm nickel underplating and 4 µm minimum gold wiping area. The connector operates reliably across a temperature range of -55°C to +85°C with a maximum process rating of 260°C, and maintains an insulation resistance of 1 × 10³ MO minimum at 250 V DC with a withstanding voltage of 300 V AC for 1 minute. This connector is ideal for high-density media applications, telecommunications equipment, and data center interconnects where reliable surface-mount assembly and power distribution are required.
