DESCRIPTION

3357-9209 is a metal D-Sub EMI junction shell designed to provide EMI/ESD protection for 9-position D-Sub connectors. The shell and hardware are constructed from nickel-plated steel, while the cover nut is made from unfilled thermoplastic (ABS) with UL94V-0 flammability rating in black color. Key dimensions include 1.18 inches (30.0 mm) for dimension A, 0.76 inches (19.4 mm) for dimension B, and a recommended cable size OD of 0.28 inches (7.0 mm). The lightweight, compact design features easy assembly to reduce time and labor costs, with an optional thumb screw kit available. This junction shell is ideal for discrete wire applications requiring grounding options and EMI/ESD shielding similar to aluminum die cast enclosures.
