DESCRIPTION

The 7100251654 is a wiremount socket from the 3M 3000 series, designed for creating reliable connections with .050" pitch flat cable or discrete wires. It features copper alloy contacts with 30 μ” gold plating in the wiping area and accepts 26 and 28 AWG solid or stranded wires. The insulator is made from UL 94V-0 rated glass-filled polyester, and positive locking metal 'J' clips ensure high cover retention. This socket mates with 3M headers, plugs, and pin strips, providing a quick connect/disconnect capability suitable for a wide range of electronic applications requiring robust board-to-cable interconnections.
