DESCRIPTION
The 6A11-A0141-010.0-0 is a 3M Active Optical Cable (AOC) assembly for SFP+ applications, delivering a single bi-directional channel operating at data rates from 1 to 10.3125 Gbps using industry-leading VCSEL technology. The module features an 850 nm operating optical wavelength, supports SFF-8431/SFF-8432/SFF-8472 standards, and maintains a bit error rate (BER) of less than 10?¹², with a 20-pin edge connector electrical interface and 3.3V nominal supply voltage. Operating over a temperature range of 0°C to +70°C with typical power consumption of 240mW per end, the cable supports fiber links up to 100m and includes bend-insensitive fiber with full diagnostic features via Serial and I2C management interfaces. This AOC is ideal for high-performance computing clusters, 10G Ethernet applications, Fiber Channel, and InfiniBand deployments in servers, switches, storage systems, and host card adapters.
