DESCRIPTION
8534-4500PL is a 34-pin polarized boardmount socket from the 3M 8500 Series, featuring centerbump polarization with 0.100" x 0.100" pitch and straight solder tails. The socket is constructed with a UL 94V-0 rated glass-filled polyester (PBT) body in gray color, and features copper alloy contacts with 2 µm nickel underplating and 0.3 µm gold in the wiping area. It offers a current rating of 1 A, insulation resistance greater than 1 × 10?O at 500 VDC, and withstanding voltage of 1,000 V RMS at sea level. The connector operates over a temperature range of -55°C to 105°C and includes board retention features for secure mounting during flow soldering operations. This socket is designed to mate with low profile shrouded headers and is ideal for applications requiring reliable board-to-board interconnections.
