DESCRIPTION

The 98-1100-0714-7 is a 3M Multi-Touch Controller (PX5000) designed for large-format PCAP multi-touch systems in commercial display applications. This controller supports up to 80 simultaneous touch inputs with palm rejection, delivering >99% accuracy with a resolution of 32K x 32K and a touch refresh rate greater than 100 Hz (<10ms response time). The system operates over a temperature range of -10°C to +70°C, features a total thickness of 4.4mm, and communicates via USB HID Digitizer with operating current less than 206mA. It is compatible with Windows XP through Windows 10, Linux kernels 3.5 and later, and Mac OS (Intel), and includes a three-year warranty. This controller is ideal for retail displays, public exhibits, and interactive gaming applications where robust, scalable multi-touch functionality and modern glass-to-edge design aesthetics are required.
