DESCRIPTION

The 8340ZA is an aluminum round standoff designed for secure PCB mounting and spacing applications. It features a 1/4" outer diameter with a 6-32 UNC-2B internal thread and a standoff dimension (height) of 2.250 inches, providing reliable support for circuit boards and electronic assemblies. The standoff is manufactured from aluminum alloy 2011-F-3 and finished with clear chromate coating for corrosion resistance. The design includes 0.015" maximum chamfers on both ends and counterbore specifications of 0.015" x 0.45" before tapping, with a minimum of 11 turns on both ends to ensure secure fastening. This standoff is commonly used in electronic equipment, telecommunications, and industrial control systems where precise spacing and vibration isolation are required.
