DESCRIPTION
The S-35390A-J8T1G is a CMOS 2-wire real-time clock IC designed for very low power consumption. It operates over a wide voltage range of 1.3 V to 5.5 V with a typical current consumption of just 0.25 µA, making it ideal for extending battery life in main and backup power systems. Key features include a built-in 32.768 kHz crystal oscillator, a clock correction function to adjust for frequency deviation, an alarm interrupter, and an automatic calendar with leap year calculation up to 2099. The device also includes free user registers for backup memory and a low power supply voltage detector. This real-time clock is well-suited for applications such as mobile gaming and AV devices, digital cameras, and electronic power meters.
