DESCRIPTION
The S-8261AAJMD-G2JT2G is a battery protection IC designed to safeguard single-cell lithium-ion and lithium polymer battery packs from overcharge, overdischarge, and overcurrent conditions. It features a precise overcharge detection voltage of 4.325 V, an overdischarge detection voltage of 2.500 V, and an overcurrent 1 detection voltage of 0.150 V. This model includes a power-down function, consuming a typical current of 3.5 μA during operation and a maximum of 0.1 μA in power-down mode. Internal delay circuits provide an overcharge detection delay of 1.2 s and an overdischarge detection delay of 144 ms, eliminating the need for external capacitors. With its high-accuracy detection, low power usage, and three-step overcurrent protection, this IC is ideal for various portable electronic devices.
