DESCRIPTION

The ACR1504I3-EVB-A is an evaluation board designed to facilitate engineering evaluation of the ACR150413 multiband chip antenna, tuned to operate at 868 MHz as the center frequency for LPWA/ISM applications. The board measures 105 × 35 × 1 mm and includes an SMA connector for direct connection to a calibrated Vector Network Analyzer (VNA) for performance testing and characterization. The evaluation board incorporates a matching network with frequency-specific component values: for 868 MHz operation, the vertical antenna configuration uses A = 0.5 pF and B = 5.6 pF, while the horizontal antenna configuration uses D = 1.5 pF. The board is RoHS/RoHS II compliant and features both vertical and horizontal antenna type matching circuits with defined metal/ground clearance areas (35 × 15 mm for antenna 1 and 35 × 20 mm for antenna 2). This evaluation board enables rapid prototyping and performance validation for 868 MHz wireless communication systems before integration into customer PCB designs.
