DESCRIPTION

AF2-5.00V125TM is a fast-acting surface mount fuse designed for circuit protection in power supply and consumer electronics applications. It features a 5.0 A current rating with a nominal cold DC resistance of 0.0143 O and a melting I²t of 5.9 A²s, providing reliable overcurrent protection with fast response at 200% overload current levels. The fuse is constructed with a fiberglass-reinforced epoxy body, copper or copper alloy composite fuse link, and copper termination with nickel and tin plating, ensuring durability and excellent inrush current withstanding capability. Operating over a temperature range of -55°C to +125°C with appropriate de-rating, this halogen-free, RoHS-compliant component is ideal for power supplies, DC/DC converters, LCD displays, and IT products requiring certified protection with UL, PSE, TÜV, and CQC approvals.
