DESCRIPTION

The 1172C-INCHES is a two-conductor twisted pair cable assembly designed for general-purpose electrical interconnection and signal transmission. It features 22 AWG tinned copper conductors (7/30 stranding) with 0.010" nominal PVC insulation wall and an overall 0.032" nominal PVC jacket in slate color. The cable is twisted at a minimum of 8.0 twists per foot and has an overall diameter of 0.164 inches (0.174 inches maximum). Electrically, the cable is rated for 300V RMS with a characteristic impedance of 66 O, capacitance of 33 pF/ft at 1 kHz, and a conductor DC resistance of 16.3 O/1000 ft at 20°C. The cable operates reliably over a temperature range of -20°C to +80°C with a maximum bend radius of 10 times the cable diameter and a maximum pull tension of 11 lbs. This cable is ideal for control circuits, instrumentation, and low-voltage signal applications where reliable twisted-pair transmission is required.
