DESCRIPTION

The 1218C-SL005 is an 8-conductor shielded cable designed for low-voltage signal and control applications requiring electromagnetic interference protection. It features 24 AWG tinned copper conductors (7/32 stranding) with 0.010" nominal PVC insulation, twisted at 6.0 twists per foot minimum, and protected by an aluminum/mylar tape shield with 25% overlap and a 24 AWG tinned copper drain wire. The cable is jacketed with 0.032" nominal PVC in slate color and is rated for 300 V RMS operation across a temperature range of -20°C to +80°C. With a conductor DC resistance of 26 O/1000 ft and a shield DC resistance of 15.9 O/1000 ft, this cable is suitable for industrial control systems, instrumentation, and audio/video applications where signal integrity and noise immunity are critical.
