DESCRIPTION

The 2254/3-SL001 is a three-conductor shielded cable assembly designed for low-voltage signal and control applications. It features three 22 AWG tinned copper conductors (7/30 stranding) with 0.016" nominal PVC insulation walls, color-coded black, red, and white per Alpha Wire Color Code D1. The cable assembly is constructed with 6.0 twists per foot minimum, wrapped with clear Mylar tape at 25% overlap, and protected by a bare copper spiral shield with 95% coverage minimum. The outer PVC jacket is 0.020" nominal wall thickness in slate color, with an overall cable diameter of 0.187 inches (0.197 inches maximum). Electrical specifications include a 300V RMS voltage rating, conductor DC resistance of 16.3 O/1000ft at 20°C, and capacitance of 39 pF/ft at 1 kHz between conductors. The cable operates reliably over a temperature range of -20°C to 80°C with a minimum bend radius of 10 times the cable diameter, making it suitable for industrial control systems, instrumentation, and general-purpose wiring applications where shielding and reliable signal transmission are required.
