DESCRIPTION

The 3470/15C-SL005 is a 15-conductor shielded twisted-pair cable designed for low-voltage signal transmission and control applications. It features 28 AWG tinned copper conductors (7/36 stranding) with 0.010" nominal PVC insulation, twisted at 4.8 twists per foot minimum, and protected by an aluminum/mylar tape shield with 65% braid coverage and a 28 AWG drain wire. The cable is rated for 300V RMS with a nominal operating temperature range of -20°C to +80°C, a bend radius of 10 times the cable diameter, and a maximum pull tension of 26 lbs. The outer PVC jacket is 0.035" nominal wall thickness in slate color, with a nominal overall diameter of 0.267 inches. This construction makes it suitable for instrumentation, control systems, and industrial applications requiring reliable multi-conductor signal routing with electromagnetic shielding.
