DESCRIPTION

The Alpha Wire 6300/8-SL005 is a shielded communication and control cable designed for reliable signal transmission. It is constructed with eight 24 AWG stranded tinned copper conductors, each with semi-rigid PVC insulation. The conductors are cabled together with a minimum of 6.0 twists per foot and protected by an aluminum/Mylar tape shield with a 24 AWG tinned copper drain wire for effective EMI/RFI protection. The entire assembly is enclosed in a durable, slate-colored PVC jacket with a nominal outer diameter of 0.214 inches. Rated for 300 VRMS and operating from -20Â°C to 80Â°C, this cable is suitable for a variety of general-purpose internal and external wiring applications in electronic equipment.
