DESCRIPTION

6718-YL001 is a single-conductor 12 AWG hookup wire designed for general-purpose electrical applications requiring reliable insulation and flame resistance. The wire features a tinned copper conductor with a 0.012-inch wall of modified polyphenylene ether insulation, providing a nominal outer diameter of 0.117 inches. It is rated for 600V RMS at temperatures up to 105°C and meets UL AWM/STYLE 11028 and VW-1 flame ratings, as well as CSA C(RU) AWM I A/B FT1 standards. The wire is halogen-free and RoHS-compliant, with a bend radius of 10 times the cable diameter and a maximum pull tension of 51 lbs. Common applications include equipment wiring, control circuits, and general hookup where flame-retardant, temperature-resistant insulation is required.
