DESCRIPTION

74009-BK002 is a four-pair Category 5e unshielded twisted-pair (UTP) cable designed for horizontal cabling in networking installations. The cable features 22 AWG solid bare copper conductors with 0.011" polyolefin insulation, organized into four twisted pairs with staggered lays and cabled together at 4.0 twists per foot minimum. The outer jacket is 0.043" nominal PVC wall thickness in black color with a ripcord for easy stripping, and includes sequential numbering for identification. This cable meets UL CMR, PLTC, and CMX ratings at 75°C, CSA C(UL) TYPE CMR and FT4 standards, and ISO/IEC 11801 Category 5e specifications, making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor installations with oil and sunlight resistance. The cable operates at 300 Vrms with a characteristic impedance of 100 O ±15%, supporting high-speed data transmission with low attenuation and excellent crosstalk performance across the frequency spectrum up to 100 MHz.
