DESCRIPTION

P1053-BK005 is a non-shrinkable PVC tubing designed for electrical insulation and wire protection in various applications. The tubing features a minimum inner diameter of 0.229 inches and a maximum inner diameter of 0.249 inches, with a nominal wall thickness of 0.020 inches, and is available in black color. It meets rigorous electrical and mechanical standards including UL Standard 224 VW-1, CSA International Standard 198, and MIL-I-631D specifications, with a dielectric strength of 870 V/min and volume resistivity of 2×10¹4 ohm-cm. The material exhibits excellent mechanical properties with a tensile strength of 2780 psi minimum and elongation of 260% minimum, operating reliably across a temperature range of -20°C to 105°C. This tubing is ideal for wire harnesses, cable bundling, and electrical component protection in industrial, automotive, and consumer electronics applications where flame resistance and environmental compliance are required.
