DESCRIPTION

2224.0 is an uninsulated ferrule designed for terminating 14 AWG (2.50 mm²) stranded flexible wire in terminal blocks and control devices. The ferrule features a tin-plated copper tube construction with a polypropylene sleeve and is color-coded blue for convenient identification. It has a stripping length of 12.0 mm (4.7 inches) and ferrule dimensions of 2.5 mm (1.0 inch) outer diameter and 3.4 mm (1.3 inches) length. The product is tested according to CSA Std C22.2 No. 65-93, CSA Std C22.2 No. 188-M1983, ANSI/UL Std No. 486A, and ANSI/UL Std No. 486C standards. This ferrule prevents conductor breakage due to bending, wire stress, or vibration while facilitating reliable wire insertion into terminal clamps, making it ideal for industrial control applications and electrical installations requiring secure wire termination.
