DESCRIPTION

AZ2150-1A-9DEF is a 40-ampere miniature power relay featuring a single Form A (SPST-NO) contact arrangement with a 9VDC nominal coil voltage and sealed epoxy construction for automatic wave soldering and immersion cleaning. The relay delivers a maximum switched power of 900 W or 10,000 VA with a maximum switched current of 40 A at 30 VDC or 300 VAC, utilizing silver cadmium oxide contacts with contact resistance less than 20 milliohms. The device operates with a coil pickup power of 500 mW, maximum continuous dissipation of 2.2 W at 20°C ambient, and a temperature rise of 43°C at nominal coil voltage, with Class B insulation rated to 130°C and Class F option to 155°C. This relay meets UL 508 Group A spacing and UL 873 refrigeration requirements, offers a mechanical life expectancy of 10 million operations, and is ideal for industrial control, HVAC systems, and appliance switching applications requiring reliable high-current switching with compact form factor.
