DESCRIPTION

The AZ2800-2C-277A is a 40 A miniature power relay designed for switching high-current AC loads in industrial and commercial applications. It features dual-pole contact arrangements (DPST with 2 Form A or DPDT with 2 Form C contacts) with a 277 VAC nominal AC coil rated at 14.4 mA nominal current and 4700 O coil resistance (60 Hz). The relay meets 8 mm creepage and 4 kV dielectric strength requirements, with contact ratings of 40 A at 277 VAC resistive (30k cycles), 30 A at 277 VAC general use (100k cycles), and operates with a 15 ms typical operate time and 10 ms typical release time. It is rated for -40°C to 65°C ambient operating temperature, withstands 0.062" displacement at 10–55 Hz vibration and 10 g operational shock, and is housed in a PBT polyester enclosure with quick-connect tab terminals. Common applications include HVAC systems, lighting control, motor starters, and power distribution in commercial buildings where 277 VAC switching is required.
