DESCRIPTION

The AZ2850-2C-110DE is a 40 ampere miniature power relay manufactured by American Zettler, featuring a 110VDC coil with DPDT (2 Form C) contact arrangement. The relay is rated for a maximum switched power of 560W or 8310VA, with maximum switched current of 40A (N.O.) and 3A (N.C.), and maximum switched voltage of 30VDC or 600VAC. Key technical characteristics include a coil pickup power of 925mW at nominal voltage, maximum continuous dissipation of 5W at 20°C ambient, and a temperature rise of 48°C at nominal coil voltage. The relay offers excellent electrical performance with contact resistance less than 50 milliohms, dielectric strength of 1500Vrms contact-to-contact, and insulation resistance of 10? ohms minimum at 500VDC. Operating temperature range is -40°C to 85°C for DC coils, with mechanical life expectancy of 5×106 operations and electrical life of 1×105 cycles at 30A, 277VAC resistive load. This relay is ideal for industrial control applications, power switching, and automation systems requiring reliable high-current switching with compact form factor.
