DESCRIPTION
AZEV140-1AE1BG-12D is a 40 Amp power relay with integrated monitoring capability designed for IEC 61851 Mode 2 EV charging applications. The relay features a SPST-NO (1 Form A) load contact rated for 50 A switching capability at 440 VAC with a wide contact gap of =2.25 mm, combined with a SPST-NC (1 Form B) signal contact for welding monitoring. It operates with a 12 VDC coil, has a contact resistance of =50 mO at 6VDC/1A, and withstands up to 1850 A short circuit current with dielectric strength of 4 kVrms and surge withstand voltage of 6 kV. The relay achieves 50,000 electrical cycles at CC2 load category per IEC 61851-1, operates over -40°C to +85°C, and includes TÜV, UL/CUR, and CQC approvals. This relay is ideal for EV charging infrastructure, power distribution systems, and applications requiring reliable high-current switching with integrated fault monitoring.
