DESCRIPTION

The CL-140A is an NTC thermistor designed for inrush current limiting. It has a resistance of 50 Ω at 25°C and supports a maximum steady-state current of 1.1 A RMS. The device is rated for a maximum capacitance of 600 μF at 120 VAC and 150 μF at 240 VAC, with a maximum energy rating of 4.32 Joules. With a wide operating temperature range of -50°C to 175°C, it provides robust surge protection. Common applications include controlling inrush current in switching power supplies, fluorescent lamps, inverters, and motors.
