DESCRIPTION
XP-85B1-02DA is a 28 Gbps 850nm multimode SFP28 transceiver designed for high-speed optical communication in data center and fiber channel environments. The transceiver supports data rates up to 28 Gbps with a maximum link length of 100m on OM4 multimode fiber or 70m on OM3 fiber, operating at a wavelength of 850nm with VCSEL laser and PIN receiver technology. It features a hot-pluggable SFP+ footprint with LC connector, metal enclosure for lower EMI, and a single 3.3V power supply with maximum power dissipation below 1W. The module includes a 2-wire serial interface with integrated digital diagnostic monitoring for real-time access to operating parameters such as temperature, laser bias current, transmitted and received optical power, and supply voltage. Operating temperature range is 0°C to +70°C for commercial applications, with an extended range of 0°C to +85°C available. This transceiver is ideal for 25G Ethernet deployments in data centers and high-speed fiber channel systems requiring reliable, low-power optical connectivity.
