DESCRIPTION
The 10124648-001LF is an AirMax® Power Connector Module designed for high-performance power distribution in Hard Metric backplane and midplane applications. This right-angle header connector features a 1x2 contact array with 2 contacts per column, delivering up to 40 Amps per contact for a total of 80 Amps per module, with a module width of 12 mm along the card and 6 mm column pitch. The connector is constructed with high-conductivity copper alloy contacts and incorporates a unique housing design that allows airflow for thermal management, while maintaining UL 60950 compliance for finger safety. It operates at a maximum voltage of 150V with a dielectric withstanding voltage of 1500V and insulation resistance exceeding 10,000 MO, with contact resistance maintained at =1.0 mO initially and after environmental exposure. The module is ideal for applications requiring bulk current delivery from backplane or midplane to power-consuming components on daughter cards, offering hot-pluggable designs and compatibility with other Hard Metric signal connectors.
