DESCRIPTION

The 97-3057-1024-1 is a cable clamp accessory for Amphenol 97 Series standard cylindrical connectors, specifically designed for shell size 36. This clamp secures cables to the connector shell and accommodates a maximum cable outer diameter of 1-3/8 inches (34.93 mm). The clamp features threaded engagement with a 2-18 thread specification and is constructed with hard dielectric inserts and non-rotating contact design, consistent with the durable, field-proven 97 Series connector system. It operates reliably across the full temperature range of -55°C to +125°C and is available in multiple plating finishes including standard olive drab/green chromate, bright chromate, black zinc alloy, electroless nickel, and gray zinc nickel. This accessory is essential for protecting connector threads from damage during transit, storage, and assembly, while also preventing dust and foreign matter contamination of the mated connector contacts.
