DESCRIPTION

M85049/88-23W03 is a QPL band lock adapter backshell designed for use with MIL-DTL-38999 Series III & IV circular connectors. This straight-style backshell features an aluminum alloy construction with cadmium olive drab over electroless nickel finish (W), providing corrosion resistance and environmental protection. The accessory shell size 23 corresponds to a 1.500 inch (38.1 mm) thread diameter with entry size 03. Backshells in this series provide strain relief, environmental protection, and EMI/RFI shielding at the termination area of connectors, making them ideal for harsh and demanding military and aerospace environments.
