DESCRIPTION

172386-BC is an N-type straight bulkhead jack RF connector designed for use with LMR-240 cable. It features a 50 ohm impedance with a frequency range from DC to 6 GHz and a VSWR of 1.20 maximum at DC to 4 GHz. The connector body, barrel, lockwasher, ferrule, and hex nut are constructed from brass with black chromate over nickel plating, while the contact is phosphor bronze with gold plating and the insulator is PTFE. It offers a dielectric withstanding voltage of 2500 VRMS minimum and operates over a temperature range of -65°C to +165°C. This connector is ideal for RF applications requiring reliable bulkhead mounting with a 5/8-24 thread interface per MIL-STD-348 Series N Jack specifications.
