DESCRIPTION

The 242124RP is an SMA male to TNC reverse-polarity (RP) adapter designed for RF and microwave applications. It features a 50-ohm impedance characteristic and operates across a frequency range of DC to 11 GHz, making it suitable for broadband signal transmission. The adapter is constructed with brass body and shell (nickel-plated), a gold-plated brass contact pin, PTFE insulator, and a stainless steel retainer ring with silicone gasket, ensuring durability and reliable performance. It is rated for a minimum of 500 mating cycles and maintains dielectric withstanding voltage of 1000 VRMS. The operating temperature range of -65°C to +165°C provides reliable performance across demanding environmental conditions. This adapter is commonly used in test equipment, communication systems, and RF measurement setups where impedance matching and connector compatibility between SMA and TNC interfaces are required.
