DESCRIPTION

The 4200-002-0028 is a circular connector from the Amphenol/Matrix MIL-DTL-5015 Crimp Rear Release Series, designed as a high-performance alternative to older solder types. This series is intermateable with existing MIL-DTL-5015 solder or crimp versions, facilitating upgrades on existing equipment. It features a robust design with a captive coupling nut, multiple interlock systems for insert retention, and a damage-proof metal clip for positive contact retention. The connector is completely sealed against environmental extremes using individual contact seals, interfacial seals, and redundant wire and shell seals. Depending on the class, these connectors can operate in temperatures from -55Â°C up to 200Â°C, making them suitable for demanding military, aerospace, and industrial applications.
