DESCRIPTION

H4CFM4DM is a female photovoltaic cable connector from Amphenol Industrial Solar Technologies designed for high-reliability solar power systems. It features a rated voltage of 1000V DC (TUV/UL certified), rated current of 45A for 4.0mm²/12AWG cable, and utilizes stamped and formed (S&F) contacts with copper tin-plated material for low contact resistance of 0.30mO typical. The connector incorporates a snap-lock mechanism with special unlocking tool requirement per NEC 2008, compression gland cable strain relief, and achieves IP68 protection rating when mated. Operating across an ambient temperature range of -40°C to +85°C with UL94 V-0 flame class and Safety Class II rating, this connector is ideal for residential and commercial solar installations, photovoltaic arrays, and renewable energy systems requiring robust, weather-resistant connections.
