DESCRIPTION

159-2801-216 is a 16-conductor jacketed flat ribbon cable designed for IDC (Insulation Displacement Connector) termination applications. It features 28 AWG 7/36 tinned copper conductors with gray PVC insulation and a red edge mark, wrapped in a spiral polyester tape and enclosed in a black PVC jacket. The cable offers an impedance of 95 Ohms, capacitance of 19 pF/ft at 1 MHz, and a voltage rating of 300 V with a current rating of 1.3 A at 10°C rise above ambient. With an operating temperature range of -20°C to 105°C and UL/CSA certifications, this cable is suitable for reliable signal transmission in electronic equipment and control systems.
