DESCRIPTION

AV031003C940N is an anti-vandal security pushbutton switch from the APEM AV series, designed for robust and durable applications requiring vandal resistance. It features a 22 mm (.866) diameter stainless steel bushing and flat actuator with a short case configuration, providing momentary normally open (NO) contact function. The switch offers brass silver-plated contacts, screw terminals for wires up to 1.5 mm², and is rated for 48 VDC operation with a mechanical life of 1,000,000 cycles. Key specifications include dielectric strength of 2,000 Vrms at 50 Hz, insulation resistance of 1,000 MO minimum at 500 VDC, and an operating temperature range of -30°C to +70°C. This pushbutton switch is ideal for security applications, public access equipment, and industrial control panels where resistance to tampering and harsh environments is essential.
