DESCRIPTION
HFX44R10 is a first-generation Hall effect joystick designed for precision finger-operated applications requiring proportional control and long trouble-free life. It features non-contacting Hall effect sensor technology with infinite resolution, rated for 3 million lifecycle cycles, and available in one, two, or three axes configurations. The joystick operates at 5.00 VDC supply voltage with output impedance of 6O and maximum current consumption of 10 mA per axis, offering configurable output voltage ranges from 0V to 5V rail-to-rail or custom ranges. Mechanical specifications include a break-out force of 1.3 N, operating force of 2.8 N, and mechanical angle of movement of 36° (±18°), with a single spring omnidirectional lever action constructed from glass-filled nylon. The compact design with low operational force and high reliability makes it ideally suited for clean environment applications including coordinate measuring machines, CCTV equipment, and broadcast camera control, with environmental sealing available up to IP68.
