DESCRIPTION

The IMP7Z462 is a sealed snap-action pushbutton switch from the IM series, featuring a 12 mm bushing diameter with a flat round actuator and quick-connect terminals for momentary operation. It provides tactile feedback with an audible click and is sealed to IP67 according to IEC 60529, ensuring protection against dust and water ingress. The switch supports a maximum current/voltage rating of 3A at 28VDC with an initial contact resistance of 100 mO maximum, insulation resistance of 1 GO minimum at 500VDC, and dielectric strength of 500 Vrms between terminals. It operates reliably over a temperature range of -40°C to +85°C with mechanical life rated at 1,000,000 cycles and electrical life at full load of 25,000 cycles. The switch accommodates panel thicknesses from 1.5 mm to 10 mm with a total travel of 1.7 mm (±0.3 mm), making it suitable for industrial control panels, instrumentation, and equipment requiring robust, sealed switching solutions.
