DESCRIPTION

The MJTP1106STR is a 6mm surface-mount momentary tactile pushbutton switch designed for compact electronic applications requiring reliable user input. It features excellent tactile feedback through a snap dome mechanism, single pole-single throw (SPST) momentary operation, and molded-in terminals that minimize flux wicking during soldering. The switch is constructed with a high-temperature nylon case, silver-plated brass terminals, and phosphor bronze or stainless steel shorting contacts with silver plating. Electrically, it provides a contact rating of 50 mA at 12 VDC, contact resistance of 100 milliohms maximum at 5 VDC with 10 mA current, and an electrical life of 100,000 cycles minimum. The device operates reliably across a temperature range of -20°C to +70°C, withstands 30G shock per MIL-STD-202 method 213, and passes vibration testing per MIL-STD-202 method 201, making it ideal for consumer electronics, industrial control panels, and portable devices where space is limited and durability is essential.
