DESCRIPTION
12015870 is a two-piece box and blade terminal designed for automotive low voltage connector applications. It features an integrated floating spring made of beryllium copper or copper nickel silicon, with a tangless/lanceless locking mechanism and APEX terminal cavity design. The terminal offers a blade size of 1.5 mm, supports wire gauge ranges of 22-16 AWG (0.35-1.5 mm²), and is available in both female and male genders with tin (Sn) or gold (Au) plating options. Key electrical characteristics include contact resistance less than 0.5 mO, contact mating force less than 5 N, and maximum current rating of 18 A with operating temperature up to 150°C. This heavy-duty terminal is suitable for body, chassis, and engine compartment applications requiring robust electrical connections with high current capacity and vibration resistance up to 30 G.
