DESCRIPTION

12047682 is a low-voltage automotive connector terminal designed for heavy-duty performance in vehicle electrical systems. It features two-piece construction with an integrated floating spring made of beryllium copper or copper nickel silicon, providing reliable contact engagement and disengagement. The terminal exhibits a contact resistance of less than 2 mO, a contact mating force of less than 5 N, and an unmating force of less than 2 N, ensuring consistent electrical performance. With a maximum operating temperature of 150°C, maximum vibration rating of 12 G, and environmental protection rating of IP68, this terminal is suitable for on-engine sensors and other demanding automotive applications requiring robust connectivity and superior single-piece housing construction with Primary Lock Reinforcement (PLR) for detecting partially installed terminals.
