DESCRIPTION
ASA00BB36-LS is a 6-watt isolated DC-DC converter from the Artesyn ASA series, designed for ruggedized applications requiring high-input voltage conversion. It features an ultra-wide 4:1 input voltage range of 18–75 Vdc with dual outputs of +12 V @ 0.25 A and -12 V @ 0.25 A, providing ±2.0% voltage tolerance and ±0.5% line regulation. The converter is fully encapsulated in a compact 1.25 × 0.8 inch (31.7 × 20.3 mm) metal case with a height of 0.4 inch (10.2 mm), achieving 1500 Vdc input/output isolation and meeting Mil-STD-202G vibration standards. With a switching frequency of 200 kHz, efficiency of 81% at 5 V, and operating temperature range of -40°C to +71°C with no derating, this converter is ideal for harsh environments, telecommunications, industrial, and data center applications where reliable power distribution is critical.
