DESCRIPTION
The AVD50B-48S05-6L is a 50-watt 1/16" brick isolated DC/DC converter designed for telecommunications and industrial applications. It accepts a wide input voltage range of 36 to 75 Vdc and provides a fully regulated 5V output capable of delivering up to 10A, with an efficiency rating of 91.5% at full load. The converter features an open-frame construction optimized for air cooling, operates across an ambient temperature range of -40°C to +85°C, and includes advanced protection mechanisms such as overvoltage and overcurrent protection with hiccup mode operation. With a switching frequency of 350 kHz, low output ripple of 35 mV peak-to-peak, and support for remote sense and trim functions, this converter is ideal for telecommunications equipment supplies, industrial power systems, and applications requiring reliable isolated power conversion with minimal external filtering.
