DESCRIPTION

ACM1602B-RN-GTH-G is a 16×2 character LCD module featuring an STN (Super Twisted Nematic) liquid crystal display with LED backlight and KS0066 controller IC. The module measures 84.0 mm (W) × 44.0 mm (H) × 13.5 mm (D) maximum with LED backlight, and incorporates a 1/16 duty cycle with 0.56 mm × 0.61 mm dot size and 0.61 mm × 0.66 mm dot pitch. It operates with a supply voltage of 2.7 V to 5.5 V for logic and 3.0 V to 6.5 V for LCD drive, with typical power consumption of 0.8 mA to 4.0 mA depending on operating conditions. The display offers wide viewing angles (horizontal: -60° to +35°, vertical: -40° to +40°) with a contrast ratio of 6:1 and response times of 150 ms typical for both rise and fall. This module is ideal for industrial instrumentation, consumer electronics, and embedded systems requiring compact alphanumeric display capabilities with reliable performance across standard (0°C to 50°C) or wide (-20°C to 70°C) temperature ranges.
