DESCRIPTION

01002-7811 is a 2.5" solid shaft incremental encoder from the BEI Sensors H25 product line, designed for industrial applications in both ordinary and hazardous locations. It features EMI shielding, high precision ball bearings, and matched thermal coefficients on critical components for reliable operation. The encoder offers shock resistance up to 1000 m/s² (during 5 ms), vibration resistance up to 300 m/s² (50-2000 Hz), and IP65 protection (IP66 with shaft seal option). With a storage temperature range of -40°C to +100°C and humidity tolerance of 93% RH non-condensing at 20°C, it is well-suited for demanding industrial environments. Common applications include machine control and automation systems where high noise immunity and ruggedized construction are essential.
