DESCRIPTION

1694A-RED-1000 is a low-loss serial digital coaxial cable designed for high-frequency signal transmission applications. It features an 18 AWG solid bare copper conductor with a diameter of 1.016 mm, gas-injected foam HDPE insulation with a diameter of 4.572 mm, and a Duofoil® plus tinned copper braid shield providing 95% coverage, all enclosed in a PVC jacket. The cable exhibits a characteristic impedance of 75 Ohms, a velocity of propagation of 82%, and a nominal delay of 4.06844 ns/m, with attenuation ranging from 0.787 dB/100m at 1 MHz to 38.650 dB/100m at 3000 MHz. It is rated for a maximum operating voltage of 300 V RMS and meets UL 1006 Vertical Shaft and CSA FT4 flame test standards, making it suitable for indoor and outdoor installations. This cable is ideal for serial digital video transmission, broadcast facilities, and professional video distribution systems where low signal loss and reliable shielding are essential.
