DESCRIPTION

The 7810A-BLK-500 is a 50 Ohm wireless transmission coaxial cable designed for RF applications up to 6000 MHz, featuring RG-8 construction with a 10 AWG solid bare copper covered aluminum (BCCA) conductor and polyethylene (PE) insulation. The cable incorporates a dual-shield design consisting of Duofoil® II tri-laminate tape (100% coverage) and 95% tinned copper braid, providing excellent electromagnetic shielding and signal integrity. With a nominal outer diameter of 0.403 inches (10.2 mm), characteristic impedance of 50 Ohms, velocity of propagation of 86%, and maximum VSWR of 1.25:1 across the frequency range, this cable delivers reliable performance for point-to-point and point-to-multipoint wireless antenna communication, two-way radios, amateur radio, low-power FM, GPS, and RFID applications. The cable operates over a temperature range of -40°C to +80°C, supports a maximum pull tension of 145 lbs, and features a minimum installation bend radius of 2 inches, making it suitable for outdoor aerial installations with UV and sunlight resistance.
