DESCRIPTION

The 9538-CHR-1000 is a multi-conductor computer cable designed for EIA RS-232 applications. It is constructed with eight 24 AWG (7x32) stranded tinned copper conductors and semi-rigid PVC insulation. For protection against interference, the cable incorporates an overall Beldfoil® shield providing 100% coverage, along with a 24 AWG stranded tinned copper drain wire. Key electrical characteristics include a nominal capacitance of 33 pF/ft, a conductor DCR of 25 Ohm/1000ft, and a UL voltage rating of 300V RMS. With an operating temperature range of -30°C to +80°C and a CMG rating, this cable is suitable for indoor use in RS-232 data systems.
